Childhood Health Check-ups: A Crucial Foundation 

Childhood is a period of rapid growth and development, making regular health check-ups essential. These check-ups vary by age group to address specific needs.  

Children Aged 1-6 Years 

This age group focuses on developmental assessments, given the significant changes occurring. Basic health check-ups are vital, especially for pre-schoolers to early adolescents, to monitor and prevent potential health issues. Early detection and intervention are crucial, particularly for vision problems, which are common in this age group. Annual check-ups are recommended for comprehensive health monitoring. 

Children Aged 6-14 Years 

While the body begins to strengthen and mature during this phase, ongoing health care remains essential. Growth and muscle development are accelerated, making regular check-ups crucial. These check-ups should include a more comprehensive assessment of internal systems.

Examinations

• Physical Examination by a Paediatrician 
• Complete Blood Count 
• Glucose (Random) 
• Kidney Function Test BUN, Creatinine (plus eGFR) 
• Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy vitamin D total) 
• Stool Examination 
• Urine Examination 
• Doctor’s Fee and Hospital and Nursing Services Fee

Remarks

1. These packages are available online and at the Paediatrics Department 
2. Doctor selection is not available. 
3. Fasting is not required except the Smart Kid: Overweight Screening package that needs fasting for 10-12 hours before examination as blood sugar and lipid levels tests are included in the package. 
4. All packages are inclusive of doctor’s fee, medical supplies, and hospital and nursing services fee. 
5. Expenses for additional consultation, investigation, or treatment other than the package are not included. 
6. Please make an appointment at least 2 days prior to using the services via BNH Cares at LINE @BNHhospital or contact our staff for assistance at LINE @Mbrace 
7. All packages are transferable 
8. Services are available at the Paediatrics Department, 2nd Floor, Zone B, BNH Hospital, Monday – Friday from 7 am. – 7 pm. and Saturday – Sunday from 8 am. – 7 pm.
