Smart Kids Overweight Screening Package (Aged 6-14 Years Old) 

Weight Management: – Overweight children face a higher risk of developing chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and early osteoarthritis. Additionally, it can lead to concentration issues, mobility problems, low energy, and social difficulties. 

Suitable for: 

• School-aged children and teenagers (6-14 years old), especially those with rapid weight gain or overweight. 
• Children whose weight exceeds the 90th percentile on the Thai growth chart. 
• Children who are overweight compared to peers of the same age. 
• Children who experience rapid weight gain within a year.

Examinations

• Physical Examination by a Paediatrician 
• Complete Blood Count 
• TSH Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) 
• Free T4 Thyroxine Free (Free T4) 
• Glucose (Fasting) 
• HbA1c
• Cholesterol 
• Triglycerides 
• High-density Lipoprotein (HDL) 
• Low-density Lipoprotein (LDL) 
• Liver Function Test ALT, AST 
• Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy vitamin D total) 
• Body Composition Analysis 
• Doctor’s Fee and Hospital and Nursing Services Fee

Fasting is required for 10-12 hours before examination for blood sugar and lipid levels tests. 

Remarks

1. These packages are available online and at the Paediatrics Department 
2. Doctor selection is not available. 
3. Needs fasting for 10-12 hours before examination as blood sugar and lipid levels tests are included in the package. 
4. All packages are inclusive of doctor’s fee, medical supplies, and hospital and nursing services fee. 
5. Expenses for additional consultation, investigation, or treatment other than the package are not included.

7. All packages are transferable 
8. Services are available at the Paediatrics Department, 2nd Floor, Zone B, BNH Hospital, Monday – Friday from 7 am. – 7 pm. and Saturday – Sunday from 8 am. – 7 pm.
