Smart Kid Precocious Puberty Screening Package (Aged 6-14 Years Old)
Precocious Puberty Check – Precocious puberty is when a child’s body undergoes sexual changes earlier than expected. It can affect both boys and girls and may be caused by hormonal imbalances or other underlying factors. Early detection and intervention are crucial to mitigate potential long-term effects.
Suitable for:
- Older children and teenagers (6-14 years) who exhibit rapid growth or signs of early puberty.
- Girls with breast development before age 8 or menstruation before age 9.5.
- Boys with a cracking voice, facial or pubic hair, or body odor.
- Children experiencing rapid growth or frequent changes in clothing size.
Examinations
- Physical Examination by a Paediatrician
- Growth Hormone: Beta HCG
- Alpha Fetoprotein (AFP)
- Luteinizing Hormone (LH)
- Folicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)
- Testosterone for Boy
- Bone Age (Left Hand)
- Doctor’s Fee and Hospital and Nursing Services Fee
Remarks
- These packages are available online and at the Paediatrics Department
- Doctor selection is not available.
- Fasting is not required except the Smart Kid: Overweight Screening package that needs fasting for 10-12 hours before examination as blood sugar and lipid levels tests are included in the package.
- All packages are inclusive of doctor’s fee, medical supplies, and hospital and nursing services fee.
- Expenses for additional consultation, investigation, or treatment other than the package are not included.
- Please make an appointment at least 2 days prior to using the services via BNH Cares at LINE @BNHhospital or contact our staff for assistance at LINE @Mbrace
- All packages are transferable
- Services are available at the Paediatrics Department, 2nd Floor, Zone B, BNH Hospital, Monday – Friday from 7am. – 7 pm. and Saturday – Sunday from 8 am. – 7 pm.
